About Me

I am passionate about telling South African stories. I want to make our country famous, and show all that we have to offer. South Africa is an amazing place, and it deserves a global spotlight! My desire is to continue telling bigger and more exciting stories, as I continue to grow as a storyteller! I try to find the most interesting and inspiring pieces of our country and make them known.

I grew up in Joburg, and studied Film and TV at Wits University with a focus on Documentary and Experimental Film. I moved to Cape Town in 2023 to pursue a career in filmmaking, moving has revealed a lot of political dynamics which I find fascinating. I work on stills shoots, TV commercials and long form content, in the production office, and I create YouTube videos in between those jobs. 

I love photography as a hobby, and recently started Film Photography, which I'm enjoying! You can view some of my photos on Unsplash. 

I am passionate about conserving our country, I love wildlife, birds and natural spaces. When I'm "older" I'd love to buy a massive plot of land and rewild it into an indigenous nature reserve. Because of my love of nature, I volunteer as a Wildland Firefighter with Volunteer Wildfire Services. This is lots of fun! 

I also love 4x4's and overland exploration, since I was a teenager I've wanted to buy and restore a Land Rover Defender! I'm hoping to start this project as soon as I can.
